Option 1

You can use “df” command with “-T” flag to know the FStype of all the mounted partitions:

root@007 [~]# df -T | awk '{print $1,$2,$NF}' | grep "^/dev"
/dev/sda1 ext3 /
/dev/sda3 ext3 /tmp
/dev/sdb1 ext3 /home

root@vps ~]# df -T | awk '{print $1,$2,$NF}' | grep "^/dev"
/dev/vzfs reiserfs /

Option 2:

The other option is use “mount” as in:

root@007 [~]# mount | grep "^/dev"
/dev/sda1 on / type ext3 (rw,noatime,nodiratime,usrquota,grpquota,acl)
/dev/sda3 on /tmp type ext3 (rw,noexec,nosuid,noatime,nodiratime,acl)
/dev/sdb1 on /home type ext3 (rw,noatime,nodiratime,usrquota,grpquota,acl)

root@vps ~]# mount | grep "^/dev"
/dev/vzfs on / type reiserfs (rw,usrquota,grpquota)
